“Iran sees no obstacles on the way of expanding cooperation with Azerbaijan,” Iranian parliament Speaker Ali Larijani said at the meeting with Azerbaijani ambassador to Tehran Bunyad Huseynov , APA’s Tehran bureau reports.
Ali Larijani said that Iran sees no obstacles on the way of expanding parliamentary cooperation with Azerbaijan: “In the current circumstances, the ground is ready for strengthening economic, political, cultural and social cooperation and relations between Iran and Azerbaijan. Cooperation in the fields of agriculture, urban and transport should be developed.”
Azerbaijani ambassador Bunyad Huseynov, for his part, described the relations between Iran and Azerbaijan as broad and historical: “Official Baku has always supported the development of cooperation and exchanges between the two countries.”
Azerbaijani Ambassador expressed his happiness with growing cooperation between the two countries in the fields of transport, railway, economic exchanges, urban planning, agricultural industries, customs, and social and cultural cooperation as well as the health tourism.
B. Huseynov said that measures are taken to strengthen tourism cooperation between the two countries: “We hope that the taken measures will strengthen tourism cooperation between the two countries. Currently, mutual investing of investors of two countries is increasing.”
