Ambassador: "There is extensive cooperation between Azerbaijan and Switzerland"

"Over 20 years, a number of projects have been successfully implemented between Azerbaijan and Switzerland. I hope we will work closer in the future," said Swiss Ambassador to Azerbaijan Muriel Peneveyre at the official reception on the occasion of the Swiss National Day and the 20th anniversary of bilateral technical cooperation between Azerbaijan and Switzerland, APA reports.

The Ambassador noted that there is extensive cooperation between two countries.

M. Peneveyre recalled that Azerbaijan and Switzerland have friendly relations in political, economic and cultural spheres.

Speaking at the event, Ambassador for special missions at Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Gunduz Jafarov, said that relations between Azerbaijan and Switzerland are developing on a rising line.

According to him, countries have fruitful economic cooperation: "Relations between Azerbaijan and Switzerland are developing in cultural, humanitarian and other spheres. I am convinced that the existing relations will contribute to the prosperity of both nations."
