Austrian Minister: ‘Wounds of Nagorno-Karabakh war are still open”

We appreciate the important role that the Georgian Prime minister has played in releasing of detainees by the Azerbaijani side and reaching an agreement on returning the landmine maps of Azerbaijan by Armenia, said Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg at the press conference held in Tbilisi, APA’s local bureau reports.

He noted that the region has a great need for trust: “We know that the wounds of Nagorno-Karabakh war are still open and need to be healed. European Union is ready to do everything possible for this. In terms of this, trilateral cooperation relations are useful for all parties and EU will support this in the future”.
