Azerbaijan is the country which suffered the least from coronavirus, EU Commissioner

“Azerbaijan is the most prosperous, strongest country in the region. The country has successfully fought the pandemic, and Azerbaijan is the country that has suffered the least from the coronavirus. I congratulate the government and people of Azerbaijan on this,” said European Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Oliver Varhelyi on completing his visit to Azerbaijan, APA reports.

According to him, the future and prosperity of Azerbaijan depend on the future and prosperity of the countries in the region: “We discussed with the Azerbaijani government how the Economics and Investment Plan will be implemented and aspects of how Azerbaijan will be inclusive.”
