Azerbaijan to submit report to UN

"Azerbaijan has joined the new global Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), which entails 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and 169 associated targets that were formally approved by the Member States," Deputy Minister of Economy Sevinj Hasanova said during her speech at the seminar held within the framework of the UN Public Service Forum.

She stated that the coordination of the work in this area was entrusted to the Ministry of Economy, and working groups on SDG are created.

The Deputy Minister said that in connection with the aforementioned, the national voluntary report of Azerbaijan will be prepared and will be submitted to the UN next month.
