“It is meaningless to make any baseless demands against the neighboring countries,” said Foreign Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov at the briefing held after a wide-ranging meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Ruslan Kazakbayev who is on an official visit in Azerbaijan, APA reports.

The FM noted that If there are people in Armenia who have such thoughts yet, they need to look at the current situation again, and they can see what it has given to Armenia: “We said for long years that there is not the end of the policy of aggression”.

The Minister has also touched upon the issue of the importance of the process of delimitation and demarcation of borders.

J. Bayramov noted that Armenia should give the landmine maps: “3 Armenians have also stepped on a mine in these territories, there is dead and injured among them. When it comes to the ecological problems, Okhchuchay is the source of the great danger, Armenia pollutes the river. They should understand that the damage that they cause to themselves, to their country is not less than the damage that is caused by them to the neighboring countries. We call on looking at this issue not short-term, but on a larger scale. That is why there is no alternative to dialogue in these issues. We believe that the representatives of the government to be established in Armenia will also come to this conclusion”.
