Azerbaijani MFA issues a statement on euro bank notes devoted to so-called Nagorno Garabagh regime

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan (MFA) has commented on the news that was disseminated regarding the euro banknotes devoted to the so-called regime established in the Azerbaijani territories occupied by Armenia, on the website of EuroSchein-Souvenir GmbH company of Germany, the Ministry told APA.

According to Azerbaijani MFA, Azerbaijani Embassy to Germany contacted the executive director of the above-mentioned company and addressed a letter of protest to him.

“Opposite side was comprehensively informed on Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict, the so-called regime established by invader Armenia in occupied Azerbaijani territories Nagorno Garabagh and adjacent regions, and illegal activity in these lands. The company was required to avoid measures serving for the promotion of illegal regime. Opposite side immediately reacted to our appeal, apologized for their mistake in written respond letter and concern they caused, and stated that design of relevant souvenir banknote was not prepared by them, but by other companies, acting on the basis of a license.However, it has been noted the issue has relevantly been discussed after our appeal and promised the relevant souvenir will not be produced and the information (link) on the issue will be deleted from the internet page. Note that mentioned information has already been removed from the internet page of German company”, statement reads."
