On July 30, Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov held a phone conversation with Turkey’s Vice President Fuat Oktay, the Cabinet of Ministers told APA.
In connection with forest fires in Turkey it was said that as always, Azerbaijan stands by Turkey in this difficult situation.
It has been emphasized that Azerbaijan is ready to provide all possible assistance to Turkey in the fight against forest fires and mobilize all necessary forces for this purpose.
It has been noted that according to the relevant tasks and instructions of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, 500 personnel of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan, helicopters, as well as other necessary equipment and supplies will be sent to brother Turkey as soon as possible.
