“I cordially congratulate Uzbekistan on occasion of being a member to Turkic Council,” President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said at 7th Summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (Turkic Council), APA reports.

The head of state expressed his gratitude to President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev for his wise decision: "This decision of Uzbekistan will serve to strengthen the unity and solidarity in the Turkic world and deepen our cooperation more."

President Ilham Aliyev noted that Hungary’s expansion of cooperation with the Turkic Council is a pleasure: “I would like to mention here the personal role of Prime Minister of Hungary Victor Orban. The representation office of the Turkic Council has started its activity in Hungary.
