Azerbaijan's foreign policy will focus on ensuring peace and security after this, Presidential aide says

The opening ceremony of the diplomacy week on "44 days of the Patriotic War and Azerbaijan's foreign policy after the war" jointly organized by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) and ADA University, the press service of MFA told APA.

At the opening ceremony of the project, the memory of our martyrs who died for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan was commemorated with a moment of silence.

Noting that the conflict is already history, assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev spoke about the main tasks of Azerbaijan, in particular, the process of reconstruction of liberated areas, demining of these areas, and thus ensuring the safe and dignified return of internally displaced persons to their homes.

It was stressed that Azerbaijan's foreign policy, based on national interests, will continue to focus on ensuring peace and security in the region and the world, as well as international law.

The event featured a video collage covering some of the events that happened during the 44-day war.

Presidential aide Hikmat Hajiyev responded to the questions of the participants at the end of the event.
