"Meeting with the Armenian foreign minister is not on the plan", said Turkish foreign minister Mevlut Cavusoglu at the press conference with his Azerbaijani colleague Jeyhun Bayramov within the framework of the meeting of Council of Foreign Ministers of Turkic Council in Istanbul, APA reports.
According to him, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyon has given some positive messages after the election and the Turkish head of state has approached this positively.
"Our dream in advance was to turn the region into a zone of peace after the war. Azerbaijan has made a peace proposal. But, Armenia has not given a positive answer to the proposal of peace. We will coordinate the steps with dear Azerbaijan regarding the normalization of relations with Armenia", said Mevlut Cavusoglu.
