"Today is Baku's liberation day", the president of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Ombudsman Association, Chief Ombudsman of Turkey Sharaf Malkoch told journalists, APA reports.
He noted that 103 years ago, under the command of Nuri Pasha, the Caucasian Islamic army has come to these lands and liberated Baku from the occupation with the brave and patriotic sons of Azerbaijan.
"I wish God's mercy for heroes who martyred here. I hope that after the Karabakh victory, peace and tranquility will come to these lands that they deserve".
