“The Karabakh war was a difficult challenge for the region. I believe that this challenge will turn into new opportunities,” said Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili at the briefing held with his Armenian counterpart Nikol Pashinyan, APA’s Georgian bureau reports.

He noted that these opportunities may bring prosperity to Armenia and its people.

The PM stressed that Armenia’s social-economic stability is linked to the stability of the region.

“I would like to remind that during the 30 years many conflicts occurred in the region. Our mutual view and efforts are to turn the region into a region of peace, tranquility, and opportunities. This should be our mutual view and we should work in this direction,” stressed I. Garibashvili.

The Prime minister also noted that during the meeting with Nikol Pashinyan the sides discussed issues regarding economic, trade, transport, communication relations.
