German ambassador: “Everything was destroyed in Karabakh over past 30 years”

“We think about supporting the work of the UNESCO mission in Karabakh,” said German Ambassador to Azerbaijan Wolfgang Manig, APA reports.

According to him, technical problems are currently preventing the mission from visiting: “As Germany, we are ready to provide support in terms of financial support and examination for the visit of the mission. This mission can conduct an assessment in the territories.”

According to the ambassador, UNESCO's mission will carry out an assessment on cultural heritage destroyed during 30 years: “As you know, everything was destroyed in these territories over past 30 years. UNESCO will do its assessment and monitoring, and we, as Germany will think about how we contribute to this process.”
