Hikmat Hajiyev: “Issue of joining CSTO is not on Azerbaijan’s agenda”

The issue of joining Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) is not on the agenda of Azerbaijan, the head of the Foreign Affairs Department at the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan Hikmat Hajiyev told APA.

“Currently there is not such issue. Azerbaijan hasn’t applied for any status. We don’t hold such discussion at the moment”, Hikmat Hajiyev noted.

Head of department who comments on statements of Yerevan regarding Armenian’s being against to it stated that it seems Armenian side have a phobia in different levels: “Even if Azerbaijan doesn’t apply, Armenia tries to discuss every issue beyond the diplomatic framework due to its phobia and complexes”.
