"I am very sorry that such paradises have been turned into ruins," said Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Seyyed Abbas Mousavi, who is on a visit to Agdam, APA reports.

The ambassador said that everything was destroyed in Aghdam: “They say Aghdam like Hiroshima now, it is true. I wish that under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, Agdam is rebuilt and beautiful buildings are built. Iran has also expressed interest in participating in landscaping work in these areas.

Mousavi noted that, as stated by President Ilham Aliyev, the Iran-Azerbaijan border is a border of friendship: "Insha'Allah, Azerbaijan and Iran will work hand in hand to improve these lands."
