Iran’s deputy minister: “We think about potential of existing bilateral relations to become a more effective trilateral format”

“It is a pleasure for me to visit Baku to participate in the trilateral discussions of research centers. As you know, research centers of Azerbaijan, Iran and Turkey participate in these discussions. Each of us has a very good bilateral relationship, but we think we should also work on a trilateral format,” said Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and President of the Institute for Political and International Studies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (IPIS) Mohammad Kazem Sajjadpour in Baku, APA reports.

He said it was a meeting of research and think tanks: “This means that we think about the region, about the potential of the existing bilateral relations to become a more effective trilateral format.”
