Azerbaijani MP spoke about the death of Azerbaijani journalists as a result of mine explosion at PACE, APA’s European bureau reports.
Member of the Azerbaijani Parliament's delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Kamal Jafarov spoke about the construction work carried out in the liberated Azerbaijani lands during his speech at the PACE summer session started today.
“We are rebuilding Karabakh. However, the current key problem is planted mines. We exchanged 15 Armenian captives with a map of the area where 97 thousand mines were planted. As you know, at the last session, the Armenian delegation denied the existence of such maps. A few weeks ago, two Azerbaijani journalists died as a result of mine explosion.
This is a violation of international law, trilateral statement,” he emphasized
K. Jafarov noted that Armenia should hand over mine maps to Azerbaijan on time.
