A meeting between Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and OSCE Secretary General Helga Schmid, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.
S. Lavrov said that the OSCE has great potential for discussions on common problems of the Euro-Atlantic space based on equal, mutual respect and for a collective and positive solution to these problems.
“We, taking into account the interests of all participant countries, do our efforts in direction of inclusive dialogue and evaluate. I hope that at today’s meeting we will be able to exchange views in detail regarding the current situation on the activity of the OSCE. The separate bloc issues we will discuss are the conflicts that the OSCE has helped to resolve. These are the intra-Ukrainian, Karabakh, Transnistrian conflicts and the Geneva talks regarding the South Caucasus,” stressed the Russian FM.
