Leyla Abdullayeva: “Azerbaijan conveyed its protest to Russia through diplomatic channels”

The head of the press service of Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs Leyla Abdullayeva commented on mentioning the name of the so-called “Nagorno Karabakh Republic” in the information about the tender announcement to provide services to peacekeepers temporarily deployed in the territories of Azerbaijan, placed on the official website of the Unified Trade Information System of Russia (zakupki.gov.ru), APA reports.

L. Abdullayeva noted that the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs has immediately conveyed its protest to Russian side through diplomatic channels: “It has been brought to the attention of the opposite side that such false information does not meet the spirit of friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries.

In its turn, the opposite side noted that it was a technical mistake and expressed relevant measures will be taken in order to eliminate it, as well as such issues, will be carefully considered in the future.”
