"I extend my gratitude to the Azerbaijani government for the organization of this important visit for diplomats. It is an honour to be among the first people to come to Shusha. We all know that we are one of the first people to come here,” Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to Azerbaijan Mohamed Adil Embarch told journalists in Shusha, APA reports.

The ambassador has said that they witnessed a lot of work being done during the visit: “We got acquainted with the construction of an international airport in Fuzuli, as well as a power substation. We saw the road being constructed to Shusha. We have seen the scale of the destruction in the liberated territories. Work is underway to restore these areas. Mosques and churches are being repaired. It is also the best example of Azerbaijan's multiculturalism. Azerbaijan is restoring both mosques and churches. All infrastructure, buildings and houses were destroyed during the war. But the people of Shusha believe that they will restore it.”
