‘Interregional ties have great importance in Russian-Azerbaijani relations”, the spokesperson of Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova said at a briefing held today, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.
Mentioning Russia-Azerbaijan interregional forum to be held on November 22-23 in Moscow, Russian MFA Spokesperson stated that the event is 10th – an anniversary forum: “Co-organizers of the event are Ministry of Economic Development of Russian Federation and the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The forum has already justified itself as a prestigious dialogue platform. The event brings together government authorities, heads of Russian regions, business and expert circles in order to discuss current issues on cooperation between our countries.”
Remind that interregional ties have great significance in bilateral Russian-Azerbaijani relations. These relations continue to expand. More than 70 regions of Russia have been involved in these realities. 17 subjects of Russia have direct agreements with Azerbaijan on economic-commercial, scientific-technical, and cultural cooperation.
