Russian MFA Spox: "Rhetoric of the parties should be in line with the general objectives of the tripartite statements"

"I believe that efforts to resolve the process in the region, establishing peace in the region and stabilize the situation should be the number one topic," Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said at a briefing today, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.

"Unfortunately, we regularly hear destabilizing statements from different parties at different times. Such statements frighten people for the future and undermine their confidence in the implementation of the agreements reached. Provocative, false statements ... What statements were not made during this period? Therefore, we say that every rhetoric we hear from the parties must be in line with the objectives and common goals of the trilateral statements of the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia. The more information about constructive activities, the more confident people will be that the situation will return to normal. This is very important. Of course, this peaceful situation is possible with the support of the parties and the forces involved. People need to have confidence in the future, and it is very important to inform them about the steps to be taken," said Maria Zakhraova.
