“Since when terror organizations are defended against a member of NATO? Or you made these terror organizations members that I do not know?”, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at the meeting of the Turkish Business Council in Baku, APA reports.
He said that Turkey's main goal is to clear northern Syria from PYD / YPG and ISIS terrorists. Erdogan noted that more than 700 missile strikes have been carried out to Turkey since the Turkish army launched military operations in northern Syria.
Mr President has also announced the loss of Turkey during the military operations. Turkish President emphasized that 18 people have lost their lives, 148 people injured: “3 million 650 thousand Arabs are guests in our lands. But don’t they see that, they have fled Syria. We do this as a brotherhood. The European Union has pledged its support but has not paid anything other than € 3 billion. And we have spent more than 40 billion”.
Turkish President called the “Peace Spring” allegations that the Kurds are being targeted groundless: "Our main target is terrorism."
