The cancellation of the visa regime between Azerbaijan and Turkey is a manifestation of fraternal relations, said Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Erkan Ozoral, APA reports.
The ambassador said that the move would contribute to the development of economic and social relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan. Travel between the two countries will be easier, tourism will develop:
"Visa issuance has been easy so far. But the abolition of the visa regime has a psychological and symbolic meaning. As one nation-two states, our peoples will be closer to each other."
The ambassador said that this decision will also stimulate tourism development and have a positive impact on business activities.
