"We have been supporting internally displaced persons for decades," said US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Lee Litzenberger, APA reports.
According to the diplomat, the regained territories should be cleared of mines in order for Azerbaijani IDPs to return to their homes.
Mr. Ambassador noted that the Marshall Fund, a US non-governmental organization is working with the government and ANAMA in this direction.
US Ambassador brought into notice that US companies may invest in Azerbaijan, especially in the regained territories, for this, they need to participate in tenders.
