Chairman of Pakistani Senate sent Chair of Milli Majlis letter of Felicitations on Victory Day

Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of Pakistan Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani has sent a letter to Chair of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova with heartfelt felicitations on behalf of the People and the Senate of Pakistan and of Mr Sanjrani personally on the first anniversary of Patriotic War Victory of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Press and Public Relations Department of the Milli Majlis told APA.

It is written in that letter that the Islamic Republic of Azerbaijan remained supportive of Azerbaijan’s position before and during the Patriotic War, which was in line with the United Nations Security Council’s Resolutions.

‘It is heartening to see that the territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the fundamental rights of nearly one million displaced Azerbaijanis have been restored. Re-construction works being carried out in the liberated territories to ensure safe and dignified return of the displaced Azerbaijanis will be beginning of a new era.’

‘It is sincerely hoped that the international community will take all steps to ensure that Armenia should respect the sovereignty, territorial integrity and inviolability of international borders of Azerbaijan in line with the fundamental principles of international law. I once again congratulate the proud people of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the occasion of great historical victory, with the assurance that Parliament, Government and people of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan will continue supporting their just cause,’ goes the letter from the Chairman of the Senate of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
