A Trilateral Working Group, consisting of Deputy Prime Ministers of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia was established, works are underway for about 10 months on restorations of communications. Specialists arrived at the region for it, they investigate the condition of the area, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov told Anadolu, APA reports.

"I can only say that despite Armenia's statements against the issue, contradictory actions, the Trilateral Working Group has made a great progress so far," Minister stressed.

J. Bayramov noted that the opening of the Zangazur Corridor is also very important: “According to the trilateral statement, a road will be established between west of Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan. It also means the provision of a direct connection between Turkey and Azerbaijan, which is also very significant. With the opening of the road, Turkey and Azerbaijan will get additional advantages. We will have an entry opportunity into the European market through Turkey. Similarly, Turkey will get access to Central Asia via Azerbaijan and it will create new opportunities for Turkey. It is beneficial for both Armenia and other regional countries. We expect also Armenia to understand it and take very constructive steps.”
