German ambassador to Azerbaijan extends condolences regarding military helicopter crash

German ambassador to Azerbaijan Wolfgang Manig has addressed a letter of condolences to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev regarding the crash of a military helicopter belonging to the State Border Service (SBS), killing 14 servicemen and injuring 2 others, noted on the Facebook page of the German Embassy in Azerbaijan in this regard, APA reports.

Note that yesterday, at around 10:00 military helicopter of State Border Service crashed while conducting exercise flights in the Garaheybat aviation polygon located in the Khizi region, according to the joint information of SBS and prosecutor’s General Office.

During the crash the following servicemen were killed:

1. Colonel Javadov Fuzuli Ali Ibram oglu;
2. Colonel Nazirov Emil Nazir oglu;
3. Major Hasanov Elmir Mirjalil oglu;
4. Major Ahmadov Elbrus Samraddin oglu;
5. Major Mayilov Emil Shahid oglu;
6. Major Mammadov Murad Yashar oglu;
7. Major Aliyev Emil Elman oglu;
8. Captain of the medical service Ahmadkhanov Jeyhun Khanlar oglu;
9. Captain Bayramli Javid Ahliman oglu;
10. Captain Aliyev Khayyam Alikhan oglu;
11. Captain Garaisayev Teymur Anvar oglu;
12. Lieutenant Suleymanov Abdulla Telman oglu;
13. Senior Lieutenant Nagiyev Farid Tayyar oglu;
14. worker Nabiyev Elchin Fikret oglu.

During the incident, Lieutenant-Colonel Jafarov Emil Mammad oglu and Captain Adilov Ramin Ramiz oglu were injured.
