"I congratulate the government and people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of October 18 - Day of Restoration of Independence," said Croatian Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić-Radman at the joint press conference with Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov, APA reports.
According to him, there are perfect relations and broad cooperation in different fields between two countries.
Minister has expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan for support suggestion during the earthquake, which occurred in his country last year. added that they highly appreciated it.
"Azerbaijan and Croatia are strategic partners. Croatian embassy started to operate in Baku in 2019. Croatian businessmen have arrived in Azerbaijan with me and will meet with their Azerbaijani counterparts. Croatia has a lot to offer Azerbaijan. Our cooperation is possible in the fields of information, technology, shipbuilding, food, tourism, pharmaceuticals, defense industry, and demining. Our country has good experience in this field. We believe that we will further strengthen our economic cooperation with this visit, " FM stressed.
