All provocations of Armenia will remain ineffective, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov told Anadolu, APA reports.

Minister Bayramov noted that these attacks were responded to by Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry.

"30 years passed since two countries gained independence. Non-determination of borders between these two countries during 30 years is not a normal case. Its reasons are clear. An occupying policy has been pursued by Armenia for many years. But Azerbaijan returned its territories, which were under occupation for 30 years. After the liberation of its territories, Azerbaijan restored territorial integrity and this has created new opportunities. To solve the border problem, it is necessary to establish a joint commission between Armenia and Azerbaijan and launch delimitation and demarcation of borders. I think that with the beginning of this process, this tension will also end. The sooner Armenia accepts this new reality, the better for it. Armenia is obliged to accept calls for dialogue. The sooner the Armenian side understands this, accepts new dialogues and treats its neighbors with respect, accepts borders, does not make claim to the territories of neighboring countries, then the problem will be solved. In the 21st century, pursuing such a policy will not benefit any state,” the head of MFA emphasized.
