“The USA’s new Biden administration is closely interested in the South Caucasus, Azerbaijan,” said US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Lee Litzenberger, APA reports.
“You can see contacts of the US officials with the Azerbaijani government. Blinken makes phone contact with Azerbaijani officials, a visit has taken place from the State Department recently,” stressed the ambassador.
Lee Litzenberger also touched upon to the relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia: “There are new opportunities for normalization of the relations, restoration of the relations between the two countries. We-USA want to support to this process.”
