“We have one way to complete operations: all territories must be fully liberated from occupation and no armed enemy must remain in our territories,” spokesman for the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry, Lieutenant Colonel Anar Eyvazov said at a briefing of the Military Information Center, APA reports.
He stated that all operations are only within the field of the operation: “We have no targets in the Republic of Armenia. All our targets are only enemy units that have arms on their hands and legitimate military facilities of the enemy and we continue our operations against these facilities through air and lands. One of the reasons for the enemy’s shelling our residential settlements is their will to provoke us. They fire us from Armenian territory and expect a retaliatory fire at these positions, they want to widen the frontline a little more. But Azerbaijani army continues operations within the framework of the occupied territories in accordance with the instruction and does not step out of it.”
