According to the application received by State Border Service, on July 3, 2021, Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) has started cleaning the former ammunition depot in the Jabrayil region, ANAMA told APA.

During the mine action operations carried out on the marked area by the Agency's specialists, 157 unexploded ordnance (UXO), 1,185 different caliber cartridges, 5 kg explosives (TNT), and 17 white phosphorus 82 mm shells were found.

The use of white phosphorus ammunition by the Armenian armed forces against civilians and settlements was confirmed by the facts both during April battles in 2016 and during the 44-day Patriotic War. 17 white phosphorus shells proved Armenia’s hostility against civilians once again.
