Incomes of mobile communication sector in Azerbaijan increased by 42%

During January-October of this year, the volume of incomes obtained from mobile communication services in Azerbaijan made up made up AZN 754,4 mln., the State Statistics Committee told APA-Economics.

In the reporting period, the volume of the incomes obtained from mobile communication services countrywide increased by 2,3% compared to relevant period of last year. The incomes of the mobile communication sector accounted for 41,9% of incomes of the whole telecommunication market.

"During 10 months of the current year, the service worth AZN 1 801,1 mln. was rendered by information and communication enterprises. 73,2% of the services were consumed by population. Compared to the same period of the last year, the value of information and communication services increased by 1,4% in real terms", the committee stated.
