Rasht-Astara railway project will be completed within 48 months, said Iran’s minister of Road and Town Planning Mohammad Eslami in his statement to APA’s Tehran correspondent.
He noted that the Rasht-Astara railway project situated in North-South corridor is one of the most difficult projects: "The ownership of individual persons over the territory through which the railway line passes and the great size of the project make difficult its implementation. However, despite this, the project is being implemented currently".
M. Eslami said 40 months’ time has been allocated for implementation of the project and noted that Iran intends to provide resources necessary for implementation of the project by means of its internal potential and bourse.
