In September of the current year the activity of Facebook users in Azerbaijan increased by 0,71 percentage point in comparison to Agust, APA-Economics reports citing Global Stats statistics center.
As of October 1, the market share of Facebook on the social media market of Azerbaijan has constituted 61% which is 21 percentage points more than the relevant indicator of the previous year.
Facebook occupies the first place in the social media market for its popularity.
The second social network for its popularity is Pinterest. The activity of Pinterest users in Azerbaijan has decreased by 3,53 percentage points during September. The share of this social network in Azerbaijan market was 11,7% for October of the current year, which is 1,34 percentage point more in comparison to the same period of the previous year.
In September of the current year, the activity of Twitter users in the country increased by 1,72 percentage points. According to the information for October 1, Twitter with 10,7% market share occupies third place in social media market. This indicator is 3,1 percentage points more in comparison to the related period of the previous year.
Market share of the other social networks: "YouTube" – 8,75%, "Instagram" – 5,09%, "VKontakte" – 1,17%, "Google+" – 0,09%.
