Azerbaijan's AZAL starts using Armenia's air space

Azerbaijan Airlines has started using airspace over the Armenian territory while carrying out an internal flight on the Baku-Nakhchivan-Baku route since October 6, AZAL told APA-Economics.

This step demonstrates that Azerbaijan is absolutely ready for the opening of transport communications in the region and meets the interests of all border states.

The change in the route of the Baku-Nakhchivan-Baku flight will also lead to a reduction in flight time and fuel consumption during the flight in this direction.

So, after that, AZAL may use all existing air corridors, including corridors passing over Armenia and Iran, while carrying out this flight.
