Azerbaijan Railways CJSC has issued a statement regarding the delay in the movement of the Baku-Tbilisi passenger train on July 8, the CJSC told APA.

On July 8, 2019, the movement of the trains delayed due to the failure of the contact network in Padar-Sigirli station at 11:20 pm.

“The Baku-Tbilisi passenger train No. 38, located on the Padar-Sigirli section, was towed by diesel locomotive to Sigirli station and sent from there to its destination. As a result of the incident in the movement of trains, a two-hour delay occurred. Currently, trains operate as usual,” the message says.
