The project was started on April 26 after President Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, and daughters Leyla Aliyeva visited the Jabrayil and Zangilan districts, immediately after the groundbreaking ceremony for the Ahmadbeyli-Horadiz-Minjivan-Agband highway, APA reports.
Under the construction of the head of state, implementation of several road project has already been started in the liberated territories from the occupation and successfully is being continued. These projects will play a very important role in the socio-economic development of the liberated districts and villages. The Ahmadbeyli-Horadiz-Minjivan-Agband highway is also of strategic importance. Because the mentioned highway being a part of Hajigabul-Horadiz-Agband-Zangazur corridor highway, is of great importance in terms of connecting Zangilan with other regions of Azerbaijan and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
