Deputy Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of Azerbaijan Elmir Valizade has reacted on the Internet's low internet speed comments, APA-Economics reports.

E. Valizade told that these are absolutely groundless opinions in a statement to reporters

Deputy Minister emphasized that the development level of the Internet in Azerbaijan is high: “The most advanced internet technologies are applied in our country. Citizens are able to receive services that meet their interests and needs through mobile, wireless technologies, wired telephone networks. In this regard, the thoughts about low-speed internet in Azerbaijan are baseless. Great Britain’s company Cable, (the source where placed indicators allegedly about low speed of internet in Azerbaijan) is for if anyone has trouble in access to the internet, they directly contact this source to check it. Therefore, the persons who apply Cable are for some reason, low-speed internet users. People who have high-speed internet never apply to this source. Therefore, the high indicator in Azerbaijan's reality is many times higher than that indicated in the source ”.
