Georgia offers Azerbaijan to restore regular passenger transport

Tbilisi hosted the next meeting of the Azerbaijan-Georgia Joint Commission, State Road Transport Service under the Ministry of Transport, Communications, and High Technologies of Azerbaijan told APA-Economics.

At the next meeting, the Joint Commission in the field of international automobile communication has focused on the issue of resumption of public transport to/from Georgia.

Taking into account the needs of the population, Nikolaz Gvenetadze, acting head of the Land Transport Agency of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia proposed to restore regular passenger transportation routes in accordance with the rules established by the relevant authorities of both countries during the COVID-19 pandemic.

For this purpose, it was considered advisable to apply to the relevant structures.
