Georgian and Romanian FMs discussed transport statement among Georgia-Romania-Azerbaijan-Turkey

A meeting has been held between Georgian FM David Zalkaliani and his Romanian counterpart Ramona Manescu, APA’s Georgian bureau reports.

Quadrilateral negotiations among Georgia-Romania-Azerbaijan-Turkey and declaration on transport field, adopted by them, have positively been assessed and implementation of the document has been discussed in the meeting, held within the framework of 74th Session of the UN General Assembly in New York.

The Ministers of Foreign Affairs also discussed cargo transportation increase among countries.

Georgian FM extended his gratitude to his Romanian counterpart for her support to sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as Euro-Atlantic integration of Georgia in the meeting.

Note that Romania and Georgia celebrate the 300th anniversary of the friendship between countries.
