"Special steps will be taken for restoration of Shusha's historical view in the coming period," Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Shusha district Aydin Karimov told APA.
A. Karimov said that one of the important steps in this direction is the restoration of historical architectural monuments: “At the first stage, work is underway on projects to restore 15 historical architectural monuments, and their restoration will be started in the next two months. The process will begin with the restoration of historical monuments located in the central streets of the city. Earlier, two monuments were restored - the mausoleum of Molla Panah Vagif and the House Museum of Bulbul. Restoration of other monuments will also started.
The Special Representative noted that with the blessing of President Ilham Aliyev, a large project - a new residential complex in the city was recently founded in Shusha: “In general, construction and building work in Shusha is carried out in accordance with the General Plan. The General Plan has already been submitted."
A. Karimov stressed that the steps taken after the liberation of Shusha have one goal: “This goal is to make the city of Shusha suitable for living as soon as possible."
