By the decision of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Arsen Davtyan has been relieved of his post as Deputy Health Minister of Armenia, ONA reports citing News.am.

Davtyan is incarcerated.

As reported earlier, according to a National Security Service statement, on March 30, the head of a medical facility gave a particularly large amount of money to Arsen Davtyan as a bribe.

The deputy minister, who was detained the same day, was later arrested, and on April 2 was incarcerated.

But considering the age and health conditions of the person who is suspected of giving the bribe, that person was released on a signature bond to not leave Armenia.
