Moscow still cannot give the exact date of a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un but the preparations for the summit are at the concluding stage, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Monday, ONA reports citing TASS.
"Indeed, the meeting is being prepared and the preparations have entered the final stage. The encounter will take place before the end of April," the Kremlin spokesman said.
Putin’s spokesman declined to specify the summit’s date or disclose any other details. Thus, Peskov recommended journalists to "ask Pyongyang" about how many days the North Korean leader’s visit to Russia would last.
"Unfortunately, I cannot give you more information except for what we stated before. There is no new information," Putin’s spokesman said.
