Putin: US trying to impose its services in economy, defence on other countries

Washington's efforts to destroy agreements and projects involving Russia, including Nord Stream 2, are attempts of unfair competition, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday, ONA reports citing Sputnik.

The United States is trying to impose its services on other countries, both in the economic and defense spheres, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with his Austrian counterpart Van der Bellenon Wednesday.

The Russian president expressed hope that European companies that are part of Nord Stream 2 would realize their responsibility before economies of their countries and stressed that Moscow was ready to "go all the way" to implement the project.
