State Security Service of Georgia is investigating information regarding the weapons and armament used in terrorist attack in New Zealand

Georgian State Security Service begins the cooperation with its partners in order to receive information regarding the detainees and the weapons seized and their possible relations Georgia.

On March 15, terrorist attack hit the New Zealand city of Christchurch where armed terrorist with semi-automatic weapons rampaged through two mosques and killed 49 people and injured 50. Attacker who committed mass shooting Brenton Tarrant recorded the terrorist attack with Go-Pro camera and shared in social media. Cartridges of firearms used in terrorist attack contained inscription in different languages, including Armenian and Georgian.
