“The statements announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia show that this country still lacks statehood traditions”, ONA Turkey bureau reports.
According to the information, it is said by the press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Hami Aksoy answering the question on Armenia’s rejection of Turkey’s offer about opening v2_archives and creation of joint history.
He stated that if Armenia doesn’t keep the v2_archives closed regarding the so-called “Armenian genocide”, this problem will be solved: “The European Court of Human Rights has given its legal assessment regarding the 1915 events, and come to the conclusion that Turkey is not guilty on this issue. The official Erevan doesn’t completely open its v2_archives. Furthermore, Armenian Catholics in Echmedzin, Armenian Patriarchate in Jerusalem and the v2_archives of Dashnaksutyun in Boston are only open to the persons who support Armenian claims. If the Armenians try to open the v2_archives, all the truth will be revealed”.
