Venezuela has made another payment towards clearing its debt with Russia, worth 3 billion, which was supposed to come through back in March, Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov told reporters on Friday, ONA reports citing TASS.
"Yes, Venezuela paid us within the established period," Siluanov said.
Note that at the end of March, crisis-shaken Venezuela was expected to pay over $100 mln on its debt to Russia. In early April, Russia’s First Deputy Minister, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said that Caracas had the right to transfer the payment within a month.
